

In 1992 Don Loftis and his family moved from Indianapolis, Indiana to begin his ministry in Old Hickory. Don had preached for 16 years in Central Indiana; the last eight had been inner city work with the Park Avenue congregation.
Don grew up in Springfield, Tennessee and graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1974. He earned the MAR degree in 1976 from Harding University Graduate School of Religion in Memphis.
Don and his wife Pam met in college and were married in December of 1973, They have three grown children, and their four grandchildren help buffer the empty nest.
While ministry has been his passion throughout the years, Don is a very big sports fan with interest in some team from almost every major sport. He and Pam both enjoy traveling and have recently become involved in researching their respective family genealogies.
Mark Adams began working with the Old Hickory church of Christ in May of 2007, having worked with the Rose Bud church of Christ in Rose Bud, Arkansas for 4 years before this, while also teaching part time at Harding University.
Mark grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, where he graduated from Ezell-Harding Christian School in 1999. He received his bachelors degree in Biblical Languages from Harding University in 2003, and is close to completing his Master of Divinity degree from the Harding Graduate School of Religion.
Mark and his wife Carolina met at Harding, and were married in July of 2004 in Durango, Mexico, where Carolina is from. They don't have any children yet.
Mark is a guitar and music enthusiast, and also loves anything related to technology. He and Carolina like to spend time together watching tennis, and spoiling their cat, Nacho.
