Adult Groups

Craftsmen use hickory for tool handles because it is tough. Do you long for a church family that will help you get a handle on life? Do you want a spiritual life that is hardy, durable, and resilient? If so, Old Hickory is a great place to call home.

Men

We equip men to be leaders in the church, home, and workplace. Service projects, devotionals, and fellowship activities bond us together as men of God. In the words of Paul, our goal is to help men, "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong" (1 Corinthians 16.13).

Faith Builders

The Faith Builders class is an eager group of adult learners from various stages of life. Through Bible study and fellowship, we help each other become better disciples of Christ. We welcome you to join us as we dig deep into God's Word to improve our daily practice of it. Teachers use multiple methods (video, discussion, lecture, and group activities) to guide students to more relevant Christian living. Faith Builders enthusiastically support the ministries and activities of the church in addition to scheduling class socials, service projects, and other events throughout the year.

College

Our young adults and college age ministry has been designed to function as a place for intimate small group relationships where 1-on-1 interaction is common and encouraged. We strive to focus on relationship building and developing a community that is service oriented, while emphasizing meaningful and relevant Bible studies that equip young adults with life skills that orient them on the path to abundant living. Empowering young adults for leadership is one of the greatest aspirations a body of Christians can have, and we would love to help you find your talents for God's kingdom. We love to have meals together and enjoy fun and relaxing activities during the week. Come experience why Old Hickory is a great place to call home!
