Harbor Springs, Michigan – USA

Dale and Jerrie Duverney, both Michigan natives, started in Rogers City, Michigan, a few years ago, and they are now establishing and building up a new work on the opposite side of the state near the upper peninsula on Lake Michigan in Harbor Springs-a community of about 1500. The nearby city of Petosky (population upward of 14,000) gives them ample fields of potential prospects both by personal Bible studies and correspondence courses.

In the summer of 2018 several from Old Hickory went to help in a door-to-door invitation effort in the month of July. Each night a series of lessons called “Journey Through the Bible” was held by Chuck Anderson who works with the Lord’s church in a suburb of Detroit. The Duverneys  believe this area is one of the most needed areas in the state in which to spread the Gospel.
