Imagine a mission opportunity where language is no barrier, you already understand the culture, your sponsoring congregation is present and ready to dig in alongside you, and your funds are already raised. Welcome to Project Multiply!

The church of Christ in Old Hickory Village, a suburb of Nashville, is building a team of upcoming college graduates to launch a fresh outreach strategy focused on Gen Z and Millennials. We see our neighborhood as a mission field, much like the one Luke experienced in Jerusalem and wrote about in Acts 6. We invite you to join us as we seek to spread the Gospel and help the number of disciples in the Village multiply!

Project Multiply is a bi-vocational mission opportunity. The elders of the congregation will work with the team to mentor and develop its members for service in the Kingdom. This will allow team members to immediately serve, grow spiritually, and build careers all at the same time. Service areas include personal evangelism, local and out-of-town missions, teaching, worship leadership, and community outreach.

Nashville is the “It” city and unbelievably popular with young professionals. That also makes it a bit expensive for new college graduates. Project members will each be provided a housing allowance to remove that barrier. Instead, your energy can be focused on creatively building a new ministry and new relationships.

It’s rare to find an opportunity to serve in an established mission point and build your career at the same time. But you’ve found it! Old Hickory is an intergenerational, traditional congregation, with four elders, and a 100-year history. Check out our website and socials to learn more about us. Of course, Nashville speaks for itself!
